About
We are your home-away-from-home & vacation retreat getaway on Foster Lake at the start of Willamette National Forest.
Foster Lake Inn is a comfortable 1940s historic home originally built by local builders and loggers along the South Santiam River.
Relax in this vernacular-style Vacation Inn with a touch of your parents & grandparents' home.
Pick fruit from our small traditional orchard of apple & quince trees.
We are located across the street from Foster Lake's beautiful natural fun and down the road from the lush Willamette National Forest. The Inn & Vacation Lodge is on the country edge of Sweet Home, at the start of the Cascade Mountains.
Come relax and unwind in Foster Lake's guest parlor after a long day of swimming and sunning. Or, after an afternoon of challenging mountain hikes beneath huge old-growth trees, come sit and put your feet up.
Settle back on the guest parlor couch with a mug of hot apple cider. Talk about your day of fun adventures in the Santiam Playground. Or have a quiet time reading your favorite book in front of a warm, crackling fire.
Your Host: Steve Olin
Steve is a former fireman, policeman & corrections officer.
Before coming to Foster Lake, he lived in Elko, Nevada.
